Bridging the Gap from Concept to Completion
Golden State Bridge, Inc.

Company Profile
Established in 2005 by David K. Riccitiello,
Golden State Bridge, Inc. (GSB), a general contractor based in Benicia, California, has rapidly succeeded in earning a reputation for excellence in heavy construction. David credits this success to GSB’s team of Vice Presidents, Paul Lukaszewicz, William Reames, Robert Coupe and GSB’s CFO, Ann-Marie Talbot, GSB’s field and office staff, and all of GSB’s Superintendents, foremen and construction professionals.
As a general contractor, GSB feels it as our duty to assume complete responsibility for any project we are awarded. That’s why our estimators, project managers and superintendents actively oversee all aspects of the construction from start to finish. GSB has always emphasized Safety and our Safety Manager, David Blohm, works one on one with OSHA to ensure that our jobsites are a safe and productive work environment.
GSB takes pride in a job well done. We believe that any project completed by us should be completed to exceed the expectations of the owner. Our goal is to be the best and safest structures contractor in California and provide a source of pride and accomplishment to all of our employees. We look forward to many years of successfully repairing, retrofitting and building California’s bridges and highways.

Management
I started at GSB as a summer intern, without knowing I was about to take the first steps towards my future career. Over the past 18 years, I participated in a wide array of projects throughout many northern California counties, ascending from a Field Engineer to Project Manager. Experience ranges from new bridges to seismic retrofits, soldier pile retaining walls and one rock shed. Several projects were the first of their kind in California. I am a licensed Civil Engineer. At Golden State Bridge, our team values forming strong partnerships on every project, building trust with contract owners, and minimizing the need for facilitated dispute resolution practices.
I graduated from the University of Reno, Nevada with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have been in the heavy civil construction industry for 5 years+. Since day one on the job with Golden State Bridge, I knew that this was where I belonged.
I joined Golden State Bridge in 2006 after graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked in several roles within the company, gaining broad experience in bridge construction and project delivery. Today, I serve as a Project Manager and Estimator, focusing on project planning, cost estimating, and helping lead projects from early development through completion.
I have worked in heavy civil construction since 2016. I graduated from Cal Poly, SLO with a BS in Civil Engineering and now am a Licensed Civil Engineer in the state of California. Currently, I work as a project manager on public works projects for Caltrans and/or City and Local governments. I enjoy the California sun and the Sierra Nevada mountain snow.
I joined GSB as an intern in 2011 while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and joined Golden State Bridge full-time in 2012. Since then, I have progressed through multiple project roles and currently serve as a Project Manager. I am a Licensed Civil Engineer (PE) and a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), and I hold a CSLB Class A General Engineering Contractor license and a Hazardous Substance Removal and Remedial Actions certification.
After an 8 year career in public accounting working with construction companies on audits, I transitioned into the construction industry joining Golden State Bridge in 2021 as the Controller. I work closely with Ann Talbot, CFO, and assist with day-to-day accounting needs as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
